So here’s a extremely easy yet crisp tutorial for you! to give you the Advantage.

Follow these steps in Adobe Illustrator to create your very own Wimbledon.

To Start we are going to open illustrator and create a new A4 landscape document. Once we have our art-board open, select the rectangle tool from your tool bar and make a box the size of your art board. This is going to be our background. Now with your rectangle selected head over to the fill on your tool bar, and fill with #91B35B.

Now for the tennis ball, select the Ellipse tool from your tool bar and click on your art board. The Height and width box will pop up, add 62 mm for both Height and Width. Fill the first circle with #FECA08. With your circle selected hold alt and shift and drag a new circle to the side of your first one, and fill this #FFD800.

Next select your second ball and drag it over your first ball, hold cmd and T to select your ball and select the bottom left corner and whilst holding shift drag your ball in until you see the dark layer behind. Now for the stripes and shadow.

1. Create a new circle with a stroke of 8px, select your circle and go Object > Expand… click OK.

2. Select your rectangle tool and draw a rectangle over half of your circle, select both and open your pathfinder tool (Window > Pathfinder if not already open) and hit crop.

3. Now you have one half of your pattern for your ball , with your half selected press alt and shift and drag a second half to the side and then using your reflect tool flip that half around and nudge it out a bit.

4. With your tennis ball pattern selected drag it over the top of your ball and rotate it so that it is at a 45 degree angle. Don’t worry if your pattern is overlapping your ball we will fix it now. Select your original ball and make a copy cmd C and then cmd F, then bring to the front (Object > Arrange > Bring to front). With your ball outline selected hold shift and select your balls pattern, with both selected go Object > Clipping Mask > Make.

Now for your shadow, simply select the Ellipse tool and roughly draw a stretched circle. Fill the circle black and change the transparency to 40%, Go Object > Arrange > Send backward until it is behind your ball.

Now for your netting and your marking. For your netting grab your Rectangle Tool and draw a bar across your art board towards the top, rotate your bar to 45 degree’s and knock the transparency down to 40%. To add the cross netting, grab your pen tool and give it a stroke of 8px, then draw a curved line from your large bar to the corner of your page. Grab your line and go Object > Expand, hold alt shift and drag your netting across so that there is a bit of spacing in between. Now press cmd and D to duplicate your netting across. Repeat this process for your vertical cross netting. Once all your netting is done select it all and Unite it (this is on your pathfinder window). And now you should have your netting.

For your marking line simply grab your Rectangle tool and draw a white rectangle across your art board. You can send this behind your netting so that it gives a cast shadow effect onto your design.

<a

The slowest is 1/32x speed, stretching a mere 1/2 second of real time into a whopping 16 seconds. This gives us a fastest to slowest ratio of 5.5 million. If you like averages, the average speed up factor of the band dancing is 270x. In total we shot 18 hours of the band dancing and 192 hours of LA skyline timelapse – over a million frames of video – and compressed it all down to 4 minutes and 30 seconds! Oh and don’t forget, it’s one continuous camera shot.

[via <a
